About The Position

This posting is for an experienced Heavy Machinery Mechanic responsible for the repair and rebuilding of vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses ranging from 850T to 2,000T. The role requires strong skills in heavy machinery repair, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting to ensure presses run at peak performance. The position is for the 2nd shift.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
2+ years in industrial maintenance, heavy machinery repair, or similar role
Ability to read and interpret mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams.
Valid driver’s license
Ability to obtain required equipment licenses.
Hands-on, safety-minded, and comfortable working with large-scale machinery in a manufacturing environment.
Authorized to work for an employer in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Die casting equipment experience preferred
Hydraulic pipe welding certification a plus (or willingness to train)

Responsibilities

Repair, rebuild, and maintain vertical and horizontal high-pressure die casting presses (850T–2,000T), and related equipment.
Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical issues using schematics and blueprints.
Perform welding, fabrication, and precision fitting of components.
Operate cranes, forklifts, and lifting equipment to handle large press components.
Conduct inspections to prevent breakdowns and keep production on schedule.
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams for efficient press operation.
