About The Position

Premier Sand and Stone, a subsidiary of Coyote Rock LLC, located in Sheridan, Arkansas is a fast-paced and fast-growing Specialty Aggregate company that utilizes heavy machinery in its day-to-day operation and currently is seeking to fill an immediate opening for a Heavy Machinery and Diesel Technician. We are seeking individuals who are detail oriented and able to perform their job functions with little to no oversight.

Requirements

• Detail oriented and able to perform job functions with little to no oversight.
• Possess in-depth skills using all diagnostic tools and resources.
• Possess basic mechanical tools and have the ability to acquire other tools as required for specific tasks.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to bend, crawl, stoop, crouch, and kneel.
• Able to enter the cab of a vehicle or piece of equipment more than 3ft off the ground.
• Ability to stand or walk for periods of time, reach for, handle, and manipulate items and to work in extreme weather conditions (heat or cold).

Responsibilities

• Performing in-depth diagnostic and repairs on engines, transmissions, driveline, HVAC, Electrical Systems, Suspension, Brakes, and Air Systems, etc.
• Using all diagnostic tools and resources, as well as all diagnostic equipment and on-line resources provided.
• Contributing to team goals.
• Safely operating, driving, backing and/or moving trucks, excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, and other types of heavy equipment.
