Requirements
- 3+ years of automotive heavy line technician experience in a dealership environment.
- Diagnose engine, transmission, drivability, and electrical system issues using advanced diagnostic equipment.
- Ford experience and Ford certifications are.
- ASE certifications.
- Personal set of automotive tools required.
- Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
- High School graduate or equivalent, 18 years or older required.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, drivetrain, steering, suspension, and electrical concerns.
- Perform heavy line repairs, including engine replacements, internal engine repairs, transmission work, and major drivability diagnostics.
- Use Ford diagnostic equipment and repair procedures to identify vehicle issues.
- Complete repairs while maintaining high-quality expertise and minimizing comebacks.
- Document repairs thoroughly and communicate findings with Service Advisors to keep customers informed.
