The company is seeking a Heavy Haul CDL Truck Driver to support its Crane & Rigging yard in Pasadena, TX. This role requires the driver to operate a fuel truck and handle various materials on construction projects. The position is 40 hours per week, with on-call availability and the potential for overtime. Turner Industries emphasizes safety, security, and employee satisfaction as top priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum four (4) years of experience
- Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with HAZMAT Endorsement required
- TWIC card preferred or ability to acquire a TWIC card
- Pass pre-employment qualification test/federal written driving test
- Pass D.O.T. drug screen/card
- OSHA approved corrective eye wear (Z87)
- Adhere to job site safety requirements as required by the client (clean shaven, long sleeves, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Use safety equipment as required by the client (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, respirator, hearing protection, safety harness with lanyard, etc.)
Nice To Haves
- TWIC card preferred or ability to acquire a TWIC card
Responsibilities
- Operate fuel truck.
- Moves hand and foot levers to control operating equipment.
- Interprets hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed.
- May assemble or disassemble equipment or material on construction projects.
- May be required to manipulate equipment on un-level working surfaces.
