About The Position

Heavy Field Service Technicians function as part of the Service Team and are responsible for the repair of heavy-classed industrial, construction, and material handling equipment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field
  • Possessing or the ability to obtain a complete line of tools, including specialized tools needed to complete jobs at customer locations
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to obtain DOT medical certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • ability to accomplish duties with accuracy and timeliness
  • ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and Repair a variety of heavy equipment at various customer locations to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
  • Effectively communicate with all involved parties including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.
  • Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards both on-site and during the operation of DOT-rated company vehicles.
