About The Position

Global Contracting Group is a large-scale earth-moving company that operates throughout the Southeast in mining operations, golf course building and maintenance, and complete site development. We are seeking a Full-Time Transport Driver with a long-term career opportunity in mind.

Requirements

• Transporting large-scale heavy equipment.
• Understanding DOT rules, regulations, routes, permits and escorting procedures.
• Tractors are 4 axle 18 speeds, Day cabs, Trailers are 3 axle RGN 4 axle mod 11 axle beam.
• Loads range from "80K lbs to 199K lbs".
• Must have a Class A CDL.

Nice To Haves

• Willing to train the Right candidate with smaller equipment experience.
• Doubles- triples and hazmat a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transportation of large heavy equipment.
• Loading and unloading equipment.
• Proper securing of equipment.
• Safe work practices are a must.
• Travel maybe required.
