Requirements

Experience troubleshooting and repairing diesel-powered equipment, vehicles, or machinery
Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to use diagnostic tools and service information
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine issues on heavy equipment
Perform repairs, maintenance, and component rebuilds
Use service manuals, diagnostic software, and technical resources to identify and resolve equipment issues
Complete service documentation and communicate repair recommendations
Order necessary parts and follow repair procedures
Work with technical support teams to resolve complex issues
Maintain a safe and organized work area
