About The Position

Performs preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshoots and repairs a wide variety of equipment (Trucks, Yellow Iron and Support Equipment). This role is designated as safety sensitive and will require the successful candidate to strictly comply with all safety rules and protocols. As part of the ongoing employment requirements, the successful candidate may be subject to drug and alcohol testing—including pre‑employment screening, post‑incident evaluations, reasonable suspicion checks, and random testing—in accordance with government regulations and company policies. Requirements

No education required
A minimum age requirement of 21 years is required at sites that accept hazardous waste.
Valid driver’s license may be required and must have a clean driving record. Upon Hire

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience performing basic preventative maintenance and minor repairs on compact construction equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, small loaders, and dozers.

Responsibilities

Repairs as needed equipment (including, but not limited to, bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars).
Diagnoses and repairs differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems.
Performs tasks per preventative maintenance checklist
Completes records such as work orders, card files, P.M. checklists, and oil samples.
Services and maintains other equipment such as light plants, water pump, welders, and other equipment.
Reference site-specific procedures and more detailed site-specific job descriptions.
Assist Senior Technician with higher level repairs
Performing other duties as assigned.
