About The Position

Pape’ Rents, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Shop Technician to join their team. The Shop Technician will work on John Deere construction equipment in the shop, ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely to support customers and maximize their uptime. The role involves working alongside other trained Technicians in a well-supported shop environment.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience in diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment, preferably John Deere equipment.
• A team-oriented personality, with the focus and drive to work without direct supervision.
• The discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program.
• Must provide own tools.

Responsibilities

• Work on John Deere construction equipment in the shop.
• Ensure equipment repairs are done accurately and timely.
• Support customers and maximize their uptime.
• Work alongside other trained Technicians in a shop environment.
