About The Position

Pape’ Machinery, Inc.’s Construction & Forestry Division is seeking a Shop Technician to work in its Oahu, Hawaii shop. The technician will repair construction and forestry equipment to help ensure repairs are accurate and timely and keep customers’ equipment operational. The role involves working alongside other trained technicians in a shop with support and resources for completing quality work. Pape’ offers training, mentoring, and ongoing learning to support career growth.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience diagnosing and repairing all makes and models of new and used heavy equipment.
A team-oriented personality and the focus and drive to work without direct supervision.
The discipline and skill to complete a technical diagnostic and repair training program.
Must provide own tools.
Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair construction and forestry equipment in the shop.
Complete equipment repairs accurately and in a timely manner to support customers and maximize equipment uptime.
