About The Position

Brayman Construction in Saxonburg, PA, is looking for an experienced Equipment Shop Mechanic to join our team! We are currently looking for career oriented experienced Shop Based Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work with our Field Support Team to support our growing operations in the region.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related heavy equipment repair experience preferred.
• Strong diagnostic skills including the ability to understand and use hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Basic computer skills to use laptop computer and smart phone for diagnostic tools, service manual review and completion of work order and time entry.
• A positive can-do attitude to work in conjunction with the Field Support team in a dynamic fast paced environment.
• Must Supply own tools

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience with cranes and drilling equipment a plus
• Previous rigging training, Certified Crane Operator, and operator training a plus. Related OEM/ Dealer and Military training are also a plus
• Clean driving record and a Commercial Driver's License or the ability to qualify to obtain one a plus.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose heavy equipment malfunctions, and conduct repairs in a timely fashion to maximize equipment uptime.
• Perform preventative maintenance as required
• Complete work orders
• Perform work in a safe and efficient manner. Follow company safety standards and participate in job hazard analysis and morning safety meetings.
