About The Position

Looking for someone who wants to work, who wants to show up on time, work Monday-Friday, who wants to take ownership of their work, think outside the box, and enjoy what they do and who they work with! This role involves performing repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services, including inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on fleet trucks, company trucks, and all equipment. The desired employee will take pride and ownership of their work, keeping the shop clean and organized. This position also includes performing service calls for emergency breakdowns.

Requirements

Must have knowledge and experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment.
Must have a clean driving record.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be able to multitask.
Ability to work under limited supervision.
Ability to prioritize tasks and complete them on time.

Nice To Haves

Welding & fabrication is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services.
Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on fleet trucks, company trucks, and all equipment.
Ability to keep an up-to-date log book and track all maintenance dates, due dates, and services.
Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment.
Raise trucks and heavy parts or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists.
Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves.
Troubleshoot operational problems and determine a plan of action to remedy problems.
Install equipment, etc., to meet specifications.
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
