Heavy Equipment Service Shop Technician
About The Position
We are currently seeking an experienced construction and industrial equipment technician to join the growing team at our Keyport, NJ location. If you are looking for a unique experience working for an industry leading dealership and rental organization, we want to speak with you! This is a shop-based role working on compact and heavy construction equipment. We are looking for technicians who can independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment while working alongside a strong team in a clean, organized, and well-equipped shop environment. Ongoing training is provided for all technicians through our mentorship program as well as OEM online and factory training.
Requirements
- Must possess strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and strong electrical and mechanical abilities.
- A high school diploma or equivalent industry experience will qualify.
Nice To Haves
- Beneficial experience would include welding/fabrication, DC electrical, hydraulic, combustion, and associated skill sets.
- Ability to work with computers, schematics, repair manuals and warranty claims is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, service, inspect, and maintain a variety of construction, landscape, heavy, aerial, industrial, agricultural, and fleet equipment.
- Some on-call responsibilities may apply.
