About The Position

Pape’ Rents is seeking a Rental Shop Technician to join their team in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves working on material handling and construction equipment to ensure accurate and timely repairs, maximizing equipment uptime and supporting customer needs. The technician will work alongside other trained technicians in a well-supported shop environment.

Requirements

• Knowledge of JLG and Genie and other AWP Equipment with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Experience with electronic and hydraulic repairs.
• Diesel and gas engine repair experience.
• Comfortable working at heights.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Must provide own tools.
• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift up to 75lbs.
• Driver's license with a good driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Aerial experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work on material handling and construction equipment.
