About The Position

Finning Canada is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Painter to join our awesome team in Prince George. As a Painter, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our heavy equipment maintains its quality and appearance. Your expertise in preparing, detailing, and painting heavy machinery will be vital in enhancing product reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Possess an approved training certificate in painting or a related field.
Must have experience with automotive painting/bodywork.
Demonstrated experience with air-assisted spray systems and pressure pots.
Previous experience working with heavy equipment, strong mechanical aptitude, enabling you to understand and address equipment-related issues effectively.
Ability to work safely and independently, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration within the team.
Organizational skills to manage painting projects efficiently and ensure timely completion.
A condition of employment may include the ability to wear a respiration where applicable.
You are required to become a member of the Union associated with this position. This will be effective immediately and will result in union dues being deducted from your pay. The terms and conditions of your employment will be governed by the collective agreement.
