About The Position

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator to operate loaders and related equipment at its Roseville, California compost facility. The role involves moving demolition and municipal solid waste materials, maintaining equipment, keeping the lot clear, managing snow and ice, directing and assisting customers, coordinating material deliveries, and participating in facility and stormwater inspections. The operator is expected to provide strong customer service, communicate effectively, and report inspection findings to the manager. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to work with internal and external customers and provide outstanding customer service.
Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

Operate a straight or articulated rubber-tired tractor-type vehicle with a front-mounted hydraulic bucket or scoop to lift and transport demolition and municipal solid waste materials from storage to staged roll-off containers.
Perform routine loader maintenance, including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Operate a skid steer loader with multiple attachments and exchange attachments as needed for different processes.
Clean the lot by removing debris manually and with equipment.
Remove snow during snow events and apply salt and sand to help ensure a safe work environment.
Direct customers to the appropriate material offloading location.
Assist customers with unloading materials when needed.
Communicate with subcontractors to schedule delivery of material to the disposal location.
Perform facility and stormwater inspections with the site manager.
Perform inspections and report findings to the manager.
