About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This role involves operating various heavy machinery to process vehicles, including using a wheel loader with forks to move vehicles, an excavator to remove engines and transmissions, and a baler to bale vehicles. You will also be responsible for loading dump trailers and performing daily equipment inspections. The ideal candidate must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Requirements

• Current Massachusetts Hoisting License – 1C/2A
• Current Massachusetts driver's license
• Current DOT Medical Card
• Previous loader fork experience – not just bucket work
• Previous excavator experience
• Three years experience - required
• Previous experience with moving vehicles – not just construction material
• Energetic
• Self motivated
• Organized
• Ability to handle a fast paced environment

Responsibilities

• Using wheel loader (forks) to move vehicles
• Using excavator to remove engines & transmissions from vehicles
• Using baler to bale vehicles
• Loading dump trailers with either excavator or baler crane
• Daily operator equipment inspections
• Must be willing to work flexible schedule / weekends
