Requirements

• 6+ years of professional heavy equipment operation (proven track record with Long Reach excavators is a major plus).
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical manuals confidently.
• Exceptional eye/hand/foot coordination and a strong attention to detail.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills for mechanical issues or unexpected site challenges.
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-first mentality-we work hard, and we work together.

Responsibilities

• Safely and expertly maneuver excavators, bulldozers, loaders, graders, and other heavy machinery.
• Perform advanced tasks including erecting materials, laying roadbeds, trenching, and precision earthmoving.
• Serve as the first line of defense by conducting daily equipment inspections, identifying mechanical issues early, and performing basic repairs to reduce downtime.
• Manage loading and unloading of heavy machinery from trailers.
• Ensure all tools, attachments, and equipment are accounted for and ready for deployment.
• Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure job site at all times.
• Complete daily logs, maintenance reports, and project documentation with attention to detail and timeliness.
