About The Position
A heavy equipment operator, (Haul truck/Loader) operates large machinery to transport materials, excavate or load rocks, and materials on a mining site. Key duties include conducting pre-trip inspections, performing minor maintenance, navigating rough terrain, and adhering to strict safety protocols. Safely operate haul trucks, front-end loaders, dozers, and excavators to load, move, and dump materials. Using hand/radio to coordinate movements with other crew members. Ability to climb into high cabs, and work in varying weather conditions.
