About The Position

All duties are performed in a work-safe manner; plant safety rules are followed and individual works as a team member. Mobile operators are given primary responsibility of performing all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment. The associated equipment of the limestone quarry and the plant equipment are also considered equipment to be operated through mobile operators. This is a first shift position.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.

Nice To Haves

• Haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment experience preferred
• Excavator, haul truck experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform all plant and quarry tasks that require the use of heavy mobile equipment.
• Operate limestone quarry and plant equipment.
• Interact with production and maintenance personnel to reduce and eliminate production interruptions.
• Travel through an Aggregate plant, including walking over obstacles, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting heavy or awkward parts.
• Wear personal protective equipment (hardhat, safety glasses, fall protection, respirators etc.).
• Adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
• Ensure employees required to wear respirators are clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
• Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
