This role is responsible for operating and maintaining equipment safely and efficiently while supporting project execution, productivity, and quality on site. Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of construction experience
• Experience operating construction equipment
• Ground Disturbance Training
• Hoisting and Rigging experience
• Working knowledge of hydraulic equipment
• Strong knowledge of civil construction practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License

Nice To Haves

• Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake (Q) Endorsement
• Experience mentoring or coaching apprentices
• Additional construction safety certifications

Responsibilities

• Operate construction equipment safely and efficiently
• Coordinate daily work activities with supervisors and site crews
• Support excavation, trenching, grading, and general civil construction work
• Participate in site safety meetings and follow all safety procedures
• Assist with hoisting and rigging activities as required
• Identify and communicate potential project or site issues
• Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
• Report equipment deficiencies and repair requirements
• Support crew operations and provide guidance to less experienced workers when required
• Ensure work is completed to project specifications, quality standards, and schedules
