Heavy Equipment Operator – Frac Sand Operations (Half-Hour Drive from Williston, ND)
About The Position
Asgard Resources is hiring Heavy Equipment Operators for its frac sand mining and processing facility in Bainville, Montana. Operators use loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment to move sand and materials around the site, support production operations, and help keep equipment operating safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role in an outdoor mining environment. The position is full-time, with overtime available. The typical schedule is five to six days per week in 12-hour shifts. Applicants must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and may work 8- to 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime. The location is approximately a half-hour drive from Williston, North Dakota.
Requirements
- Strong safety awareness and reliable attendance.
- Ability to perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work 8- to 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and overtime.
Nice To Haves
- Experience operating loaders or other heavy equipment.
- Mining, sand, construction, or oilfield equipment experience.
- Experience operating loaders in gravel pits, sand operations, mining, or oilfield environments is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Operate front-end loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment.
- Load and move sand and materials around the site.
- Feed plant hoppers and manage stockpiles.
- Perform daily equipment inspections.
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance.
- Work with plant operators and supervisors to support production.
- Follow safety procedures and MSHA guidelines.
- Keep equipment clean and work areas organized.
