About The Position

We are hiring a Heavy Equipment Operator – Flight Line Operations to support aerospace flight line operations by transporting large aircraft stands and ground support equipment in an outdoor environment. This role requires experience operating heavy equipment, coordinating movements via radio communications, and safely supporting aircraft maintenance and production activities while working independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; vocational training, Associate degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
Typically 1+ years of related experience operating heavy equipment or supporting industrial, manufacturing, aviation, or flight line operations.
Experience safely operating heavy equipment in an outdoor work environment.
Ability to communicate effectively using two-way radio communications.
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented operational environment.
Ability to work outdoors for the majority of the workday in varying weather conditions.
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting aerospace, aviation, manufacturing, or flight line operations.
Experience transporting large industrial equipment or aircraft support stands.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment to safely transport large aircraft stands and ground support equipment throughout the flight line.
Support daily flight line operations by moving equipment to meet production and maintenance requirements.
Work primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safe operating practices.
Coordinate equipment movements with team members using radio communications.
Perform assigned tasks independently while collaborating effectively with flight line personnel.
Follow established safety procedures and operational guidelines during all equipment movements.
