This is a physically demanding, hands-on role for individuals willing to perform significant physical labor, including digging trenches, using hand tools, site cleanup, and loading/unloading materials. While equipment operation is part of the job, it is not the primary focus at the entry level. The role requires working outdoors in various weather conditions and traveling out of town during busy seasons. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2+ years of experience working with heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of proper operation of heavy equipment as well as safety standards.
• Ability to maintain, inspect, clean, and occasionally repair pieces of heavy equipment.
• Keen attention to detail and situational awareness to maintain the safety of the work environment.
• Strong work ethic.

• Excavating experience
• Doubles and Triples endorsements
• CDL-A Preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on active jobsites
• Assist crews with trenching, grading, and site preparation
• Operate hand tools safely and efficiently
• Learn equipment operation through hands-on training
• Inspect and maintain equipment daily
• Follow all company safety procedures and DOT regulations
• Work as part of a fast-moving construction team
