Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment
- Strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Reliable and collaborative approach with clear and effective communication skills
- Ability to follow operational procedures, adapt to changing priorities
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with MSHA regulations, with Part 46 training considered an asset
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a variety of heavy and fixed plant equipment to support daily aggregate production
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks to ensure safe, reliable performance
- Monitor material flow, production quality, and operating conditions, making adjustments as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate activities and maintain efficient operations
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety regulations and promoting a safety-first culture
