CEC is currently seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator based in Clinton, Iowa and we are excited to connect with candidates who are interested in growing with our team. The Heavy Equipment Operator will haul and operate heavy machinery like skid steers, dump trucks, and mini excavators for construction projects in the Clinton, Iowa, area. This position is based in Clinton, IA and will require some travel to job sites within the Gateway Community.

Requirements

Experience operating skid loaders, mini-excavators, and other heavy equipment in a construction environment
Class A CDL is a strong plus, but we're also open to candidates willing to obtain one
Safety-focused mindset with the ability to work efficiently around crews, equipment, and active job sites
Dependable team player who is willing to jump in where needed and help keep projects moving
Strong work ethic with the ability to adapt to changing job site conditions
High school diploma
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical and background check
