About The Position

This is a temporary position with an expected duration of 6 months. The Heavy Equipment Operator will safely operate a variety of heavy and fixed plant equipment to support daily aggregate production. Responsibilities include conducting pre-operational inspections, monitoring material flow and quality, making adjustments as needed, and communicating effectively with team members. A strong emphasis is placed on maintaining a clean, organized work area and adhering to safety regulations with a safety-first culture.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a mining environment
Strong knowledge of safety procedures with high situational awareness
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and resolve equipment issues
Reliable and collaborative approach with clear and effective communication skills
Ability to follow operational procedures, adapt to changing priorities
Applicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply. Verification of age will be required as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with MSHA regulations
Part 46 training considered an asset
