Royal Electric Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team for Bus Charging Station projects in the San Antonio/Austin area. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience operating heavy equipment.
  • Experience with backhoes, excavator, skid steer, water truck, and wheel loaders.
  • Must have experience in the Water, Sewer, Storm Drain or underground utility field/charging stations.
  • General knowledge of confined space entry, construction, complex pumping systems, electrical.
  • Competent and knowledgeable relating to OSHA excavation requirements.
  • Knowledge of construction stakes and grades.
  • Eligible for airport badging process.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, skid steers, water trucks, and wheel loaders.
  • Perform daily pre-shift vehicle and equipment inspections.
  • Maintain daily logs.
  • Adhere to safety protocols on the jobsite.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA excavation requirements.
  • Work with construction stakes and grades.
