About The Position
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating various heavy equipment, including bobcats and mini excavators, to perform excavation, grading, and construction tasks. This includes building bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, sediment basins, and other storm-water management facilities. The role also involves mucking out and re-grading ponds, shooting grades for stakeout, and interpreting cut sheets, as well as completing other grading and excavation needs as requested by clients.
Requirements
- Eligible for employment in the United States
- 1-5 years’ of experience with bobcat and/or mini excavator or larger equipment
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Excavate for and build bioretention facilities, rain gardens, ponds, sediment basins and other storm-water management facilities/BMP’s
- Muck out and re-grade ponds
- Shoot grades for stakeout and read/interpret cut sheets
- Run bobcat and/or mini excavator and/or Heavy equipment to trench, grade, and excavate
- Complete other grading and excavation needs per the request of our clients
