About The Position
Winnebago Landfill is looking for a safety conscious Heavy Equipment Operator to join the team in Rockford, IL. In this position you will be operating equipment such as bulldozers, wheel loaders, excavators, off road dump trucks, and other types of equipment as needed. You will be responsible for routine inspection and maintenance on the equipment such as checking oil, water, and tires. This is a physical job working outside in all weather conditions. The work schedule is a rotating 4 days of 10 hour shifts. Garbage is very stable and we work year round.
Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
