About The Position
WM is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for their waste disposal site in Ball Ground, GA. This role is crucial for operating heavy equipment such as bulldozers, scrapers, and front-end loaders, contributing to the company's waste management and environmental services. The operator will be responsible for daily operations at recycling facilities, conducting equipment inspections, performing preventative maintenance, and adhering to safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience operating heavy equipment.
- Be over 18 years of age.
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities
- Operates heavy equipment in compliance with the company operating safety policies and procedures.
- Conducts routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment; maintains accurate records.
- Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.
- Follow appropriate standard operating procedures as per guidelines for operating and maintaining vehicle.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
