About The Position

The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing. This role involves operating yard and plant equipment to load materials, maintaining raw material mixture at proper moisture content, and maintaining contact with the operator to ensure the most efficient drying rate. The operator also performs daily maintenance on the loader before each shift, washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas using a high-pressure power washer, and performs general cleaning as needed in work areas. Additionally, the role requires keeping the area clean and raw materials piled out of driving areas, while maintaining safety as a top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations. All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Experience in loader operation and maintenance.

Nice To Haves

• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
• Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
