About The Position
Silver Star Construction is seeking a dependable operator to run small earthmoving equipment and assist with construction site labor as needed.
Requirements
- Excellent hand-eye and foot coordination
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
- Strong judgment and safety awareness
- Ability to work in fast-paced outdoor environments
- Team-oriented mindset with reliable work habits
- Must successfully complete background check, drug screening, and physical
- Willing to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime, nights, and weekends when needed
- Physically able to perform demanding manual labor
- Must follow all safety procedures at all times
Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer and mini excavator on job sites
- Load/unload machinery from trailers and transport units
- Adjust machine settings for proper performance
- Inspect equipment before and after use
- Track and report equipment performance and maintenance needs
- Perform preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
