Candidates who apply may be selected to attend a 4-week training program at Keyano College. Above all else, we are looking for enthusiasm and a willingness to learn. Tuition costs are covered, but candidates will not be paid while attending classroom training at Keyano. Upon successful completion of training, candidates may commence a paid, up to 6-month coop at Syncrude Mildred Lake or Syncrude Aurora Mine. Placements will be determined by the business. Candidates with prior HEO experience will not be considered for this program. Requirements
- Must be a family member of a current Suncor/Syncrude employee
- A High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) or 10+ years of work experience
- Have a valid full Class 5 Drivers License at time of application (cannot be the graduated drivers’ license GDL)
- Must currently reside within the RMWB
- Candidates with prior HEO experience will not be considered for this program

Responsibilities
- Operate Haul Truck
- Attend a 4-week training program at Keyano College
