Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must have prior hard rock experience.
• Must be willing to work a Night Shift Schedule (6:30pm - 5:30am), overtime and weekends as needed
• Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
• Must be dependable and report to work on time
• Must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., safely climb ladders, and regularly walk on uneven ground

Nice To Haves

• Preferred one (1) year of heavy equipment operating experience
• Preferred experience in the maintenance and operation of mobile equipment, construction equipment and/or equipment

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate various pieces of heavy mobile equipment including but are not limited to blades, dozers, motor graders, excavators, and loaders in support of safe and efficient completion of projects.
• Operates heavy equipment which may include but is not limited to: track dozers, excavators, motor graders and front-end loaders
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment; clean equipment
• Perform various activities including but not limited to road building, fine grading, sloping, banking, backfilling, loading, excavating, stockpiling, maintaining road berms, and loading trucks
