About The Position

Specialized Maintenance Services, headquartered in Pasadena, Texas, offers a full line of environmental infrastructure maintenance and industrial cleaning services. This position involves performing industrial maintenance work, including vacuuming industrial waste and/or materials (solids, sludge and liquids) and other related duties. It also includes municipal sewer cleaning and rehabilitation. The role requires setting up and breaking down vacuum piping, hoses, and hydro-hose runs, and the operator is directly responsible for assisting in the establishment and implementation of safety practices on a "per job" basis.

Requirements

Valid driver's license required at time of application.
MVR check will be conducted.
Passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Ability to work 40+ hours a week.
Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and be on call when asked.
Ability to travel around the Houston area.

Responsibilities

Performs industrial maintenance work, including vacuuming industrial waste and/or materials (solids, sludge and liquids) and other related duties.
Performs municipal sewer cleaning and rehabilitation.
Sets up and breaks down vacuum piping, hoses and hydro-hose runs.
Directly responsible for assisting in the establishment and implementation of safety practices on a "per job" basis.
