About The Position

This is a remote/ rotational position, working on the North Slope of Alaska. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and the North Slope is provided. Job Purpose: Working under the supervision of the Field Foreman, the Wells Support & Field Rig Support Lead positions provide day-to-day task and performance direction to the work crew. Requirements

Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsement required and ability to be insured by WORLEY’s auto insurer.
One (1) year experience with flange identification, triplex pump, bolt-up, or basic rigging procedures.
Current CDL/DOT medical card.
High school diploma or equivalent GED.
North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.
Ability to operate vehicles including tractor/trailer combination, loader, forklift, book truck, and manlift.
Ability to safely drive/ operate tractor-trailer combination, 325 BBL Vacuum Truck, Super Sucker, Mini-Vac, and other assorted Fluids hauling equipment.
Demonstrated experience with wellhead components, bolt-up procedures, flanges, threaded pipe and fittings, and proper safe use of tools.
Knowledge of hydro testing.
Must be a self-starter; able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Extensive equipment operation in congested areas, large volume of backing operations and in severe weather conditions.
Knowledge of standard DOT regulations.
Ability to work at heights.
Ability to work as part of a team; communicate effectively with fellow workers and alternate.
Ability to lead a work crew to accomplish goals and objectives established by management.
Familiarization with work planning and organization.
Familiarization with Well Reconnects and Disconnects.
Ability to recognize and correct gaps in the safe execution of field maintenance work scope.
Ability to train, direct and assess employee’s knowledge in equipment operation/driving.
Capable of learning various Worley and client safety and operational procedures and demonstrating required competencies.
Must have ability to stand, walk on level, uneven and slippery surfaces, sit, squat, kneel, crawl, reach through low and high ranges, work overhead, and exhibit normal balance and coordination. These basic physical requirements are essential for safe performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear.
Standing for prolonged periods of time.
Driving for prolonged periods of time in the dark and inclement weather
Ability to climb scaffold, ramps, stairs, equipment, portable ladders, and/or wellhouse/tank/facility fixed ladders of 20 feet or greater.
Ability to wear and utilize fall protection within manufacturer specifications.
Lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist with two hands.
Lift 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder with two hands.
Carry 50 lbs. for 15 feet with two hands.
Push/pull 60 lbs. sled for 20 feet.
Push/pull 90 lbs. cart for 20 feet.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years experience in petrochemical environment.
Two (2) years experience working in a Wells Intervention environment.
One (1) year experience with various windows based computer programs including Word, Excel, and Power Point.

Responsibilities

Provides day-to-day supervision and technical direction to field work crews.
Examine work, equipment assignments and materials for compliance with specifications.
Adheres to Work Execution Plan expectations for work acceptance and planning, execution and close out. Positively reinforces safe work practices by providing daily recognition to team members.
Perform heavy labor such as layout of hardline pipe and hauling/stacking materials on trailers or skids.
Ability to operate Wells service equipment: Loaders, Rig Trucks, Forklifts, Man-lifts, Boom Trucks, Lowboys.
Promotes a safety culture that supports and encourages employees to go beyond the call of duty to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and are comfortable intervening to correct inappropriate behaviors and concerns. Champions voluntary safety programs.
Ensure all team members understand and follow procedures. Assess skill level of team members and assist in skill development.
Serve as on-site single point of contact for work crew.
Routinely perform safety and productivity observations, as well as shop, field and vehicle inspections.
Accountable for safe work practices.
