Requirements
- Journeyperson or Registered apprentice Heavy Equipment Technician from a recognized authority
- Experience with heavy civil construction or highway paving equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and a 3-year driver’s abstract
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions with diagrams or sketches
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, highway trucks, asphalt plants, pavers, rollers and other various off road equipment
- Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
- Engage and participate in Ledcor safety policies and procedures
- Complete maintenance records and documentation as required
