About The Position
MasterTech is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanics for shop and traveling field service work in the Winston-Salem, NC area. This role involves performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repair on various specialized and advanced mining and drilling equipment throughout North America. Travel is typically Monday to Friday, with mechanics returning home for weekends. The position offers a day shift schedule, Monday to Friday.
Requirements
- 3 or more years of experience working on off-road heavy equipment (mining, construction, forestry, drills, aerial, earthmoving, etc.) and/or diesel trucks.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to commit to overnight and out-of-state travel assignments when needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Possession of a full set of tools.
Nice To Haves
- Highly proficient with electrical systems is preferred to secure higher wages.
Responsibilities
