About The Position

Harsco Environmental is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic experienced in repairing large, off-road, construction type equipment in an industrial environment. The role requires a self-starter capable of completing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on heavy off-road equipment such as pot carriers, loaders, material handlers, fork trucks, and cranes. Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and/or electronics is preferred. Welding and fabrication skills are a plus. The mechanic must be able to interpret technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and similar guides to perform repairs and modifications according to OEM specifications and procedures.

Requirements

3-5 years experience as a Heavy Equipment or Diesel technician
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Ability to pass drug/alcohol screens

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and experience with diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems and/or electronics
Welding and fabrication skills
