Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Documented trade school, certified technical training, or commercial technical training required.
  • Must be a U.S. person.
  • 1–3 years of related mechanical maintenance experience required.
  • Ability to identify parts using IETMs, schematics, cross-references, and vehicle configuration data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to meet and maintain ASR requirements.
  • Must be able to gain and maintain access to military facilities.
  • Must be able to work in improved/unimproved maintenance facilities and field environments, adjust to customer schedule changes, and travel CONUS or OCONUS as required.

  • Experience maintaining or troubleshooting military vehicles, heavy equipment, automotive systems, hydraulic systems, or diesel-powered platforms preferred.
  • Knowledge of turret systems, related LRUs, GDLS products, military terminology, and maintenance processes preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform troubleshooting for faults, failures, and deficiencies on Stryker family vehicles.
  • Conduct Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) in accordance with applicable technical documentation.
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, cooling, fuel, exhaust, driveline, suspension, and power-pack systems.
  • Use Built-In Test Equipment (BITE), manual troubleshooting procedures, test equipment, common tools, special tools, and technical manuals to isolate and correct malfunctions.
  • Repair and replace Line Replacement Units (LRUs), subsystems, and components by disassembling, removing, replacing, adjusting, reassembling, and testing parts.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic systems common to Stryker platforms and variant-specific configurations.
  • Read and interpret IETMs, schematics, flow diagrams, troubleshooting procedures, and diagnostic documentation.
  • Complete maintenance records, administrative forms, and related documentation.
  • Maintain accountability of special tools, test equipment, and assigned property.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as needed.
