About The Position
Kiewit Foundations is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for their project located in Abilene, TX. This role requires maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing all types of heavy construction equipment, including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems. The mechanic will work with specific equipment brands such as Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, and Takeuchi, and utilize diagnostic systems like CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, and Diesel Laptop.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic.
- Must be able to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic, electric, and power train systems.
- Experience working with the following equipment: Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, Takeuchi.
- Experience working with the following diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop.
- Must have required tools.
- Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and fit for duty medical and non DOT physical test.
Responsibilities

- Perform other duties as required.
Benefits
- Rate starting at $35.00 per hour
- $580 per diem weekly.
