About The Position

This role consists of ensuring our equipment is up and running safely and smoothly. This means performing regular preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a wide range of construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet in the branch location. You’ll also troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diagnose diesel and gas engines, and perform maintenance on drive trains. You may also occasionally deliver equipment or parts to other technicians.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic, preferably with a construction equipment background.
• Must have the tools you need to do the job.
• Experience with performing diagnostics and repairs, not just preventative maintenance.
• Experience using diagnostic software and tools.
• High quality control.
• Respect your work and make it known.
• Be willing and ready to learn.

Responsibilities

• Performing regular preventative maintenance on construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet.
• Performing minor repairs on construction equipment and delivery vehicle fleet.
• Troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems.
