About The Position
MasterTech is seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics in York, Pennsylvania. Mechanics maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse line of heavy equipment in a shop environment. Leadership roles and growth opportunities are available. Compensation is $32.00–$45.00 per hour, based on experience, training, certifications, and other factors. The position is day shift, Monday through Friday, with overtime available.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, or completion of a Diesel Technology/Mechanic program.
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proficiency with diagnostic scanning tools.
Nice To Haves
- Welding experience.
- OEM training.
- Working knowledge of construction, earth-moving, forestry, mining, landscaping, or similar equipment.
