About The Position
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our field service team. This role involves performing inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment. The position requires a strong understanding of various manufacturers and engine types, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to travel regularly within Kansas. Ample overtime is expected based on workload and service demands.
Requirements
- Strong inspection, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair experience on heavy equipment.
- Able to conduct DOT inspections.
- Valid CDL Class A or ability to obtain within 90 days.
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Kansas.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with manufacturers including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota, John Deere, Terex, Link-Belt, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and International.
- Engine experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and International.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
