About The Position
This role is for a Field Service Heavy Equipment Mechanic. The position involves performing inspections, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment. The mechanic will be expected to travel regularly throughout Kansas to service equipment. Ample overtime is expected based on workload and service demands. The schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Day Shift.
Requirements
- Strong inspection, troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair experience on heavy equipment
- Able to conduct DOT inspections
- Experience with manufacturers including Caterpillar, Komatsu, Kubota, John Deere, Terex, Link -Belt, Freightliner, Kenworth, Peterbilt, and International
- Engine experience with Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel, and International preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid CDL Class A or ability to obtain within 90 days
- Willingness to travel regularly throughout Kansas
