About The Position
This position is the journey level of repair and maintenance work on motor vehicles and/or construction/maintenance equipment. This position is responsible for performing routine repair work, standard preventive maintenance services and assisting with major automotive repairs.
Requirements
- Graduation from a standard high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- Three years of experience servicing, maintaining and repairing motor vehicles, gasoline and/or diesel engines, or heavy-duty construction equipment.
- One year of the required experience must include servicing and repairing heavy duty construction equipment and diesel engines.
- Must possess and maintain a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) valid in the state of Maryland during the probationary period, depending on the type of equipment operated.
