Headquartered in Houston, Texas, we provide full-service site development and turnkey railroad construction services for the industrial, petrochemical, commercial, and railroad industries across the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast region. We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Haul Truck Drivers to operate commercial vehicles at WT Byler projects including commercial, industrial, railroad and retail locations. This position will require the ability to travel (travel compensation available for some assignments).

Requirements

  • Current valid Class A or B CDL driver license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel for extended project assignments
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test, background check and physical

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that project safety and health is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and procedures, including client standards and requirements
  • Operates one of the following: backhoe, front end loader, excavator, bulldozer, track hoe, motor grader, and/or off-road dump truck
  • Haul small equipment, heavy machinery and materials for delivery to job sites
  • Assist general laborers and operators as needed during construction activities
  • Assures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures or the intended use for the equipment
  • Complete and submits equipment inspections per project requirements
  • Utilize proper PPE for all activities
