About The Position

This is a remote/ rotational position, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Job Purpose: The Roads and Pads Foreman will serve as the primary Worley representative and supervisor for the Worley Roads and Pads team in Prudhoe Bay. The Foreman will estimate, plan, and manage the work and equipment for multiple service crews and provide guidance to crew leads to ensure safe, efficient, and effectively delivery of the roads and pads services. The Foreman will also be the primary point of contact for client representatives and will oversee interactions with other client and Worley functions (field services, operations, equipment services) in support of the roads and pads scope. As a senior Worley field leader, the Foreman will be directly involved with business management functions necessary to manage and sustain the work scope.

Requirements

  • Five (5) years of supervisory/leadership experience supervising multi-disciplinary craft personnel in the oil and gas industry, using comparable technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures in a Field Services environment.
  • Five (5) years of experience in a crew-based driver/operator/equipment or applicable leadership position in Prudhoe Bay.
  • Working knowledge of computers and software programs such as Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Projects, Exchange E-mail
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered by Worley’s auto insurance provider.
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

Nice To Haves

  • Five (5) years’ experience planning and scheduling experience.
  • Experience with other crafts and disciplines, such as Rig and Wells support, Fluids Hauling, and civil construction.
  • Experience or previous employment with Worley.
  • Alaska resident and capable of short notice mobilization.
  • Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Leadership and management of all day-to-day activities for the Roads and Pads team.
  • Supports Worley Operations Manager and Director in decision making, development and implementation of specific guidelines, procedures, policies and measurable goals to help achieve company and client HSE and delivery objectives
  • Maintains close professional relationship with client supervision and functions to ensure that work is delivered in compliance with client specifications, regulations and schedules. Focuses on customer service and support
  • Takes ownership of all performance elements of the Roads and Pads Team.
  • Provides HSE guidance and leadership to subordinate Roads and Pads team leaders. Leads by example
  • Routinely performs safety and productivity observations, shop, field, and vehicle inspections. This position is required to attend various components of technical, developmental and safety training
  • Must demonstrate support for the company’s environmental management system objectives and the ability to maintain positive support with our contract objectives and goals
  • Plans and coordinates workforce which consists of crew leads and craft in performance of assigned work activities. This includes determination of manpower levels, material quantities, equipment, work schedules and documentation of actual hours worked
  • Coordinates assigned work with other groups or departments, different crafts, or other contractors as required
  • Interface with HR representatives to maintain communications, resolve disputes, requisition required personnel, recommend and administer coaching and counseling sessions and deliver disciplinary action as required
  • Assists in resolving performance problems, such as lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc., as required
  • Monitors training and compliance with client and company safety and environmental procedures and policies and documents and ensures that corrective measures are implemented when required
  • Ensures crew leads and crews are utilizing the scope specific KPI’s and keeping the data current
  • Encourages suggestion on how to improve processes
  • Recommends cost reduction ideas, offers comments on other suggestions as requested. Ensures subordinates are encouraged to manage all resources with a view towards cost reduction
