About The Position

Pape’ Rents, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Field Technician to join their team. This role involves working on John Deere construction equipment at customer locations to ensure optimal performance and maximize uptime. The technician will travel the area in a fully equipped Pape’ service vehicle, performing repairs, interacting with customers, and ensuring jobs are completed correctly.

Requirements

• 3 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing all brands of heavy diesel equipment, preferably John Deere equipment.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Self-motivation.
• Ability to work under little or no supervision.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Must provide own tools.

Nice To Haves

• CDL preferred.
